Indianola enjoys one of the most beautiful
south-facing sandy beaches in Washington State.
Beach access is just a short walk from the house
down a winding trail through the woods or by a
short drive via car.

A half-mile down Shore Drive you can follow in the
footsteps of Martha Stewart and grab a morning
latte at the Indianola Country Store.  Then explore
the historic
Indianola Dock and beach.

If you visit in the fall, visit the head of Miller Bay to
see the salmon run at the
Grover Creek Fish
Hatchery operated by the Suquamish Tribe.

It is just a short drive to Suquamish and St. Peter's
Mission,
resting place of Chief Seattle.  The site of
Old Man House marks the location of one of the
great cedar lodges used by northwest Native
Americans for thousands of years.

From here, the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas
beckon!
